A vulnerability was found in Adobe Acrobat Reader up to 10.1.13/11.0.10 (Document Reader Software). It has been classified as critical. It is assigned to the family Windows. The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 123579 (Adobe Reader and Acrobat Multiple Vulnerabilities (APSB15-10)).
Upgrading to version 10.1.14 or 11.0.11 eliminates this vulnerability. The upgrade is hosted for download at adobe.com. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability. Furthermore it is possible to detect and prevent this kind of attack with TippingPoint and the filter 19412.
