Module::Signature before 0.74 allows remote attackers to bypass signature verification for files via a signature file that does not list the files.
The weakness was disclosed 05/19/2015 by John Lightsey (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at metacpan.org. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2015-3407 since 04/23/2015. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not publicly available. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1068 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
