A vulnerability was found in Google Chrome up to 43.0.2357.134 (Web Browser). It has been rated as problematic. Use-after-free vulnerability in the accessibility implementation in Google Chrome before 44.0.2403.89 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have unspecified other impact by leveraging lack of certain validity checks for accessibility-tree data structures.
The weakness was presented 07/23/2015 by Chamal De Silva (Cloudfuzzer) with Baidu X-Team as Stable Channel Update, July 2015 as confirmed release notes (Blog). The advisory is available at googlechromereleases.blogspot.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2015-1277 since 01/21/2015. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available.
