The user interface in Safari in Apple iOS before 9 allows remote attackers to spoof URLs via unspecified vectors, a different vulnerability than CVE-2015-5765 and CVE-2015-5767.

The weakness was disclosed 09/16/2015 by Antonio Sanso (beist) with Adobe as HT205212 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared for download at support.apple.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2015-5764 since 08/06/2015. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available. The current price for an exploit might be approx. USD $5k-$25k (estimation calculated on 06/16/2022). It is expected to see the exploit prices for this product increasing in the near future.
