A vulnerability was found in Google Chrome 24.0.1312.71 (Web Browser) and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is some unknown processing of the component Web Audio Node. Google Chrome before 25.0.1364.97 on Windows and Linux, and before 25.0.1364.99 on Mac OS X, does not properly implement web audio nodes, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory corruption) or possibly have unspecified other impact via unknown vectors.
The weakness was published 02/21/2013 by Atte Kettunen with Oulu University Secure Programming Group as 172243 as confirmed posting (Website). The advisory is available at code.google.com.
