The weakness was disclosed 02/21/2013 by Jüri Aedla (Inferno) with Google Chrome Security as 169685 as confirmed posting (Website). The advisory is available at code.google.com. The public release has been coordinated in cooperation with the vendor. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2013-0891 since 01/07/2013. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details as well as a private exploit are known.
