GNOME NetworkManager allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (IPv6 traffic disruption) via a crafted MTU value in an IPv6 Router Advertisement (RA) message, a different vulnerability than CVE-2015-8215.
The weakness was presented 11/17/2015 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at bugzilla.redhat.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2015-0272 since 11/18/2014. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available.
