The remove_chunked_transfer_coding function in filters.c in Privoxy before 3.0.24 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (invalid read and crash) via crafted chunk-encoded content.
The weakness was presented 01/27/2016 by Fabian Keil (Website). The advisory is shared at privoxy.org. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2016-1982 since 01/20/2016. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available.
