The vendor states: "There is no kernel bug here."This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2015-8709 since 12/31/2015. Local access is required to approach this attack. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit. This vulnerability is assigned to T1068 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
The real existence of this vulnerability is still doubted at the moment.
