A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in Quadcomm Q-Shop (version now known). This affects some unknown processing of the file cart.asp. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
The bug was discovered 01/26/2004. The weakness was disclosed 01/26/2004 by Nick Gudov with S-Quadra (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at archives.neohapsis.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2004-2108. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. Technical details of the vulnerability are known, but there is no available exploit.
