A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Quadcomm Q-Shop (affected version unknown). This issue affects an unknown functionality of the file search.asp. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
The bug was discovered 01/26/2004. The weakness was shared 01/26/2004 by Nick Gudov with S-Quadra (Website). The advisory is shared at archives.neohapsis.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2004-2108. The attack may be initiated remotely. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1505 for this issue.
By approaching the search of inurl:search.asp it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking. The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 12002 (QuadComm Q-Shop Multiple SQL Injection Vulnerabilities).
