A vulnerability was found in Milkeyway Captive Portal (the affected version is unknown). It has been rated as critical. This issue affects an unknown code of the file admin/authuser.php. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
The bug was discovered 03/01/2006. The weakness was released 03/16/2006 by Francesco "aScii" Ongaro (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at ush.it. The attack may be initiated remotely.
