A vulnerability was found in Apple QuickTime 7.7.3 (Multimedia Player Software). It has been declared as critical. The weakness was presented 05/22/2013 by Tom Gallagher and Paul Bates with Microsoft Vulnerability Research as HT5770 as confirmed advisory (Website) via ZDI (Zero Day Initiative). The exploitation appears to be difficult. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication.
