A vulnerability, which was classified as very critical, has been found in Google Chrome 27.0.1453.94 (Web Browser). Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the component Database API Worker. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a resource management vulnerability. Use-after-free vulnerability in Google Chrome before 27.0.1453.110 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have unspecified other impact via vectors involving access to a database API by a worker process.
The weakness was presented 06/04/2013 by Collin Payne (bobbyholley) with Chromium Development Community as not defined changelog entry (Website). The advisory is shared for download at googlechromereleases.blogspot.com. The public release was coordinated in cooperation with the vendor.
