A vulnerability has been found in PostgreSQL up to 9.1.22/9.2.17/9.3.13/9.4.8/9.5.3 (Database Software) and classified as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is some unknown processing of the component CREATEDB/CREATEROLE Role. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a code injection vulnerability. Upgrading to version 9.1.23, 9.2.18, 9.3.14, 9.4.9 or 9.5.4 eliminates this vulnerability. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
