A vulnerability was found in Avant Browser up to 10.0 build 029 and classified as problematic. This issue affects some unknown processing of the component Tab Browsing Dialog Boxes Handler. Firefox before 1.0 and Mozilla before 1.7.5 allows inactive (background) tabs to launch dialog boxes, which can allow remote attackers to spoof the dialog boxes from web sites in other windows and facilitate phishing attacks, aka the "Dialog Box Spoofing Vulnerability."
The bug was discovered 10/04/2004. The weakness was presented 10/20/2004 by Jakob Balle with Secunia Research as RHSA-2005:323 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at secunia.com.
