A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in cPanel WHM up to 11.38.1.3 (Hosting Control Software). This affects the function Cpanel::Logs::prep_logs_path. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a privileges management vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-269. The product does not properly assign, modify, track, or check privileges for an actor, creating an unintended sphere of control for that actor. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, and integrity.
