Adobe Flash Player versions 24.0.0.186 and earlier have an exploitable memory corruption vulnerability due to a concurrency error when manipulating a display list. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution.
The bug was discovered 01/10/2017. The weakness was released 01/10/2017 by Francis Provencher with Fortinet's FortiGuard Labs as APSB17-02 as confirmed security bulletin (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at helpx.adobe.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2017-2930 since 12/02/2016. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available.
