A vulnerability was found in cPanel (Hosting Control Software) (version now known). It has been classified as problematic. This affects some unknown processing of the file entropysearch.cgi. The manipulation of the argument username with an unknown input leads to a information disclosure vulnerability (Website). CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-200. The weakness was shared 01/11/2017 by Omid with Open Security as Multiple Vulnerabilities in cPanel as not defined mailinglist post (Bugtraq). It is possible to read the advisory at seclists.org.
