As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
Riverbed RiOS through 9.6.0 deletes the secure vault with the rm program (not shred or srm), which makes it easier for physically proximate attackers to obtain sensitive information by reading raw disk blocks.
The bug was discovered 12/07/2016. The weakness was published 02/13/2017 by Jean-Christophe Baptiste with Sysdream as CVE-2017-5670 : Riverbed RiOS insecure cryptographic storage as confirmed mailinglist post (Full-Disclosure). The advisory is shared for download at seclists.org. The public release has been coordinated with the vendor. This vulnerability was named CVE-2017-5670 since 01/31/2017. The attack needs to be approached locally. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available.
