A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in Intel VirusScan Enterprise Linux up to 2.0.3 (Anti-Malware Software). Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in attributes in Intel Security VirusScan Enterprise Linux (VSEL) 2.0.3 (and earlier) allows unauthenticated remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via a crafted user input.
The bug was discovered 12/09/2016. The weakness was released 03/14/2017 by Andrew Fasano as EDB-ID 40911 as confirmed exploit (Exploit-DB). It is possible to read the advisory at exploit-db.com.
