A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in Apple macOS up to 10.12.3 (Operating System). This affects an unknown code block of the component apache_mod_php. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a integer overflow vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-190. The product performs a calculation that can produce an integer overflow or wraparound, when the logic assumes that the resulting value will always be larger than the original value. Multiple issues existed in PHP before 5.6.30. These were addressed by updating PHP to version 5.6.30.

Upgrading to version 10.12.4 eliminates this vulnerability. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
