A vulnerability has been found in Apple macOS up to 10.12.3 (Operating System) and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects some unknown processing of the component apache_mod_php. Multiple issues existed in PHP before 5.6.30. These were addressed by updating PHP to version 5.6.30.
The vulnerability was handled as a non-public zero-day exploit for at least 5 days. During that time the estimated underground price was around $5k-$25k. Upgrading to version 10.12.4 eliminates this vulnerability. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
