The weakness was released 08/13/2013 by Bob Clary with Mozilla Corporation as MS13-060 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). The advisory is shared at technet.microsoft.com. The public release was coordinated with Microsoft. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2013-3181 since 04/17/2013. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available.
