The weakness was presented 02/08/2005 by Andreas Sandblad with Secunia Research und Microsoft as MS05-014 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). It is possible to read the advisory at microsoft.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2005-0055 since 01/11/2005. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation.
