The bug was discovered 06/11/2018. The weakness was published 08/24/2018 as not defined mailinglist post (Full-Disclosure). The advisory is shared for download at seclists.org. This vulnerability was named CVE-2018-14059 since 07/14/2018. The attack can be initiated remotely. Required for exploitation is a single authentication. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1059.007.
