The bug was discovered 02/04/2005. The weakness was published 05/24/2005 by Maksymilian Arciemowicz as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is shared at marc.theaimsgroup.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2005-1700 since 05/24/2005. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely.
