Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in editpost.php in MyBulletinBoard (MyBB) before 1.1.5 allows remote attackers to perform unauthorized actions as a logged in user and delete arbitrary forum posts via a bbcode IMG tag with a modified delete parameter in a deletepost action. NOTE: the provenance of this information is unknown; the details are obtained solely from third party information.
The weakness was disclosed 06/29/2006 by Bartek Ryniec (Website). The advisory is shared at osvdb.org. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2006-3420 since 07/06/2006. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details and a exploit are known.

Upgrading to version 1.1.5 eliminates this vulnerability.
