The bug was discovered 12/15/2006. The weakness was disclosed 12/31/2006 by Stefan Esser (Website). The advisory is shared at xforce.iss.net. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2006-6912 since 01/09/2007. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely.
