SQL injection vulnerability in index.php in the Search module in PHP-Nuke 8.0 FINAL and earlier, when magic_quotes_gpc is disabled, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the sid parameter in a comments action to modules.php. NOTE: some of these details are obtained from third party information.
The weakness was released 01/23/2008 by Foster 1dt.w0lf (Website). The advisory is shared at exploit-db.com. The public release happened without involvement of Francisco Burzi. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2008-0461 since 01/25/2008. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The requirement for exploitation is a authentication.
