Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in libraries/config/ConfigFile.class.php in the setup interface in phpMyAdmin 3.4.x before 3.4.9 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the host parameter.
The weakness was published 12/21/2011 with Trustwave SpiderLabs (Website). The advisory is shared for download at phpmyadmin.net. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2011-4782 since 12/13/2011. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim.
