Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in the Special:Import feature in MediaWiki 1.3.0 through 1.6.10, 1.12.x before 1.12.2, and 1.13.x before 1.13.3 allows remote attackers to perform unspecified actions as authenticated users via unknown vectors.

The weakness was published 12/19/2008 (Website). The advisory is shared at secunia.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2008-5252. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available.
