Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the XSS filter (framework/Text_Filter/Filter/xss.php) in Horde Application Framework 3.2.2 and 3.3, when Internet Explorer is being used, allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via unknown vectors related to style attributes.

The bug was discovered 12/10/2008. The weakness was released 01/20/2009 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at secunia.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2008-5917 since 01/20/2009. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
