A vulnerability was found in Mozilla Bugzilla up to 3.3.1 (Bug Tracking Software). It has been rated as problematic. Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in Bugzilla 3.0 before 3.0.7, 3.2 before 3.2.1, and 3.3 before 3.3.2 allows remote attackers to delete shared or saved searches via a link or IMG tag to buglist.cgi.
The bug was discovered 02/02/2009. The weakness was published 02/09/2009 by Max Kanat-Alexander with Mozilla Corporation (Website). The advisory is shared at redhat.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2009-0484 since 02/09/2009. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available.

Upgrading to version 3.0.1 eliminates this vulnerability. A possible mitigation has been published 4 weeks after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
