CRLF injection vulnerability in bs_disp_as_mime_type.php in the BLOB streaming feature in phpMyAdmin before 3.1.3.1 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary HTTP headers and conduct HTTP response splitting attacks via the (1) c_type and possibly (2) file_type parameters.
The bug was discovered 03/24/2009. The weakness was published 03/26/2009 by Manuel Lopez (Website). The advisory is shared for download at phpmyadmin.net. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2009-1149 since 03/26/2009. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available.
