The bug was discovered 04/01/2009. The weakness was presented 04/01/2009 by Dyon Balding with Secunia Research (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at vupen.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2008-4825 since 10/31/2008. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not publicly available.
It is declared as proof-of-concept. The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 116343 (UltraISO Multiple Disk Image Parsing Vulnerabilities).
Upgrading to version 9.3.1.2633 eliminates this vulnerability.
