SQL injection vulnerability in calendar/event.php in the calendar implementation in Moodle 1.9.x before 1.9.18 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands via a crafted calendar event.
The weakness was shared 07/20/2012 (oss-sec). The advisory is shared at openwall.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2012-2363 since 04/19/2012. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be launched remotely. The successful exploitation requires a single authentication. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available.
