The message_options function in includes/ucp/ucp_pm_options.php in phpBB before 3.0.13 does not properly validate the form key, which allows remote attackers to conduct CSRF attacks and change the full folder setting via unspecified vectors.
The weakness was shared 02/10/2015 by Neal (Website). The advisory is shared at wiki.phpbb.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2015-1432 since 01/31/2015. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available.

Upgrading to version 3.0.12 eliminates this vulnerability.
