The weakness was shared 04/09/2013 by Mateusz Jurczyk, Gynvael Coldwind and Fermin Serna with Google Security Team as APSB13-11 as confirmed bulletin (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at technet.microsoft.com. The vendor cooperated in the coordination of the public release. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2013-1380 since 01/16/2013. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not publicly available.
