A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in Sitekit CMS (Content Management System) (version now known). Affected by this issue is some unknown processing of the file registration-form.html. The manipulation of the argument ClickFrom
with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. Impacted is integrity.
The weakness was disclosed 12/21/2005 by r0t (Website). The advisory is shared for download at pridels.blogspot.com. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details as well as a exploit are known. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1059.007.
