A vulnerability was found in OpenSSL 1.0.1/1.0.2/1.1.0 (Network Encryption Software). It has been declared as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the component OCSP Status Request Extension. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a memory allocation vulnerability. Upgrading to version 1.0.1u, 1.0.2i or 1.1.0a eliminates this vulnerability. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
