OpenStack Nova-LXD before 13.1.1 uses the wrong name for the veth pairs when applying Neutron security group rules for instances, which allows remote attackers to bypass intended security restrictions.
The bug was discovered 01/31/2017. The weakness was disclosed 04/12/2017 by James Page (oss-sec). The advisory is shared at openwall.com.
