Heap-based buffer overflow in coders/psd.c in ImageMagick allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read) via a crafted PSD file.
The bug was discovered 09/29/2016. The weakness was published 04/20/2017 by Moshe Kaplan (oss-sec). The advisory is shared for download at openwall.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2016-7521 since 09/09/2016. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely.
