A vulnerability was found in ImageMagick 7.0.5-5 (Image Processing Software). It has been rated as problematic. Affected by this issue is the function ReadPDBImage of the file coders/pdb.c. In ImageMagick 7.0.5-5, a memory leak was found in the function ReadPDBImage in coders/pdb.c, which allows attackers to cause a denial of service via a crafted file.
The bug was discovered 04/28/2017. The weakness was presented 06/05/2017 (Website). The advisory is available at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2017-9439.
