A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in tcpdump up to 4.9.1 (Packet Analyzer Software). This affects the function chdlc_print of the file print-chdlc.c of the component Cisco HDLC Parser. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a memory corruption vulnerability.
