A vulnerability was found in Schneider Electric U.motion Builder up to 1.3.3 (Automation Software). It has been rated as critical. The vulnerability exists within processing of editscript.php in Schneider Electric U.motion Builder software versions prior to v1.3.4. A directory traversal vulnerability allows a caller with standard user privileges to write arbitrary php files anywhere in the web service directory tree.

The bug was discovered 04/19/2018. The weakness was presented 07/03/2018 (Website). The advisory is shared at schneider-electric.com.
