The weakness was released 02/25/2014 by Felix Groebert with Google Security Team as HT6150 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared at support.apple.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2014-1260 since 01/08/2014. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication.
