A vulnerability was found in Apple QuickTime up to 7.7.4 (Multimedia Player Software). It has been rated as critical. Affected by this issue is an unknown part of the component ldat Handler. Buffer overflow in Apple QuickTime before 7.7.5 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (application crash) via a crafted ldat atom in a movie file.
