A vulnerability was found in Exiv2 up to 0.26 (Image Processing Software) and classified as critical. This issue affects the function PngChunk::readRawProfile of the file pngchunk_int.cpp of the component PNG File Handler. In Exiv2 0.26 and previous versions, PngChunk::readRawProfile in pngchunk_int.cpp may cause a denial of service (application crash due to a heap-based buffer over-read) via a crafted PNG file.
