Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 and 6.0 allows remote attackers to bypass the cross-domain security model to run malicious script or arbitrary programs via dialog boxes, aka "Improper Cross Domain Security Validation with dialog box."

The issue has been introduced in 07/08/2000. The weakness was disclosed 02/19/2003 as MS03-004 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). It is possible to read the advisory at microsoft.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2003-1326. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not publicly available. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1068 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
